About

The Journey is the Destination

Our home is a small lake nestled in the south coast of England, a stone’s throw from the rolling dunes & ocean playground of Camber sands. It was here that my mum realised her windsurfing dream & set up a watersports school in 1986, Rye Watersports. My three sisters & I spent endless summers chasing wind, trying to master the art of windsurfing.

Flogo was born out of this passion for being in nature & finding flow. when you immerse yourself in something you love time gets distorted & a deep connection is made with yourself & nature. As you get older its easy to forget about your lake days & what inspired you. Everything we do & design is based around this philosophy of flow & connection.

Our mission is to build a community of flow seekers & share this love of being in the moment.

Always Organic or Recycled

There is a great quote attributed to Gandhi, “be the change you want to see in the world”

Having spent 20 years in the clothing industry I have seen how supply chains & factories work and how margin seems to be the only thing on most brands agenda. Fast fashion & cheap clothes have become part of our culture, this comes at a huge environmental cost.

We are a young brand and have a long way to go to achieve what we consider to be full sustainability. We print our garments using water-based inks, this means we don’t use plastisol or other nasties. More than 95% of our range is organic or recycled, we aim to get this to 100% over the next 12 months, more on organic cotton here.

All our packaging is either compostable or recycled & our power is generated from renewable sources

The environment is at the heart of our brand & sustainability is our north star. Being the change you want to see in the world is our philosophy at Flogo.
