Shepherds Purse is considered by many to be a weed, but I have actively grown it this year. I love the delicate heart shaped seeds. It complements the partially opened Queen Annes Lace flowers beautifully. I have made 2 different sized versions using this flower combination.The plaques are made by pressing real seed heads and plants into clay. They are then removed, a frame put round & plaster poured over. When this is dry the clay is peeled away to reveal the 3D impression with an incredible amount of detail.
Real flowers are lovely but do not last long, by casting them I am preserving them to be enjoyed forever. Each plaque is signed on the back & have 2 keyhole brackets for hanging on a wall or look equally good displayed on a shelf. This would be a perfect gift for anyone who loves plants, flowers, gardening or nature, something they can treasure.

Avoid placing near a direct heat source or in rooms with lots of condensation. To clean dust lightly, avoid handling too much as plaster is porus & can absorb oils from your skin.
