About
Delicate nature inspired rings, necklaces and earrings
My name is Erica and I'm the founder, designer and maker at Erica Marianne Jewellery. I make nature inspired jewellery to celebrate love and life’s precious moments. Imbued with the symbolism and folklore of nature, each piece is filled with a little magic from the forests and flora that inspire me.
My designs are inspired by nature and the English countryside. From wildflowers to woodland creatures, I fill my sketchbook with ideas and use the lost-wax casting technique to translate these into pieces of jewellery. The lost wax casting technique is an art form that dates back to ancient times, where a piece is hand carved in jeweller's wax, and then cast in recycled silver and gold. I make intricate jewellery designs using this method, working with very fine carving and detailing tools.
My jewellery is handcrafted in my jewellery workshop. I have the help a small UK-based casting company who assists me with casting my pieces. Gemstones are sourced from a UK based supplier.
