What is 'Ergrownomics'?

Ergrownomics was born out of need to do better: to let everybody enjoy the benefits of home-growing – wherever they lived, with whatever space they had.

As a father and son team with backgrounds in soil science, we’ve designed our planters to do exactly that – letting you enact real change, whatever experience you have, wherever you happen to be. Home-growing isn’t intimidating – it’s amazing – and we’re on a mission to fast-track vegetable growing out of the past, introducing our own innovative functionality to modernise raised beds, and make vegetable gardening as clean, labour-saving and productive as possible – in even the smallest of spaces.

What makes us special?

We’ve revolutionised Container Growing | Soil-scientist designed, class-leading functionality & sustainably hand-built in the United Kingdom.

Most raised planters are produced using (quick to decay) treated wood or injected-moulded plastic (brittle & usually from China). We’re different, and wanted to produce something that’s truly built to last. To that end, we manufacture everything in the UK, using rotationally moulded (food-safe) MDPE containers, brass, aluminium & galvanised steel components. It’s because of this that we’re able to offer a class-leading 10-year warranty, and a 50-year design life. What’s more, our ‘black planter’ is now made from re-grind plastic waste, every part of our product is recyclable, our packaging is compostable, and our delivery is carbon-neutral!

To keep the system as efficient as possible – we also include drip-irrigation, clean filter-drainage and a patented plant training system with our entire range; that’s on top of our unlimited Owners’ Area support, providing you with all the guidance you’ll need to succeed…After all. whoever said home-growing needed to be difficult or dirty work?

Delivery

We know that you must be keen to get growing, so we aim to get your planter to you within four days (wherever possible)! We hand-build all our planters to order, then dispatch them (maximum two containers per box) with our partners at DPD local. Please be aware that the boxes are heavy, and that there may be multiple boxes per order.
