We think today’s teenagers – or young adults, as we should probably call them – are simply the best.
They live in an uncertain world and have to do it in the glare of social media. Add to this the constant ‘motivational’ messages to do better, be better, look better, and it can be a challenging time to be young.
We’re Louise and Anna and we set up Equipp to help spread happiness and positivity. We have five teenagers between us, so we know just how important it is that every young adult is given confidence to believe in themselves. Telling them how wonderful they are and putting a daily smile on their faces is integral to everything we do and produce (oh, and we’re raising money for a teenage mental health charity along the way).
Our product ranges have been developed in close consultation with the people who matter – the young adults who’ll be receiving them – and many feature the work of young artists. So we’re confident that we have a range of gifts that will go down brilliantly with the teen you’re buying for, whether it’s from our ‘You Are, You Can, You Have’ range of encouraging and affirmative prints, notebooks and calendars; our ‘Back Up Your Life’ range which helps to balance life online with a bit of digital detox; our ‘Happy Stuff’ range of home accessories to cheer up their own space; or our ‘Sporting Greats' range of sports gifts.
We know that however old they get, they still love parcels to unwrap on their birthday or piling up under the tree at Christmas. We hope you’ll find something lovely from Equipp that will remind them of how much you care every time they see it or use it.
We are passionate about teenage mental health and donate money from every sale to Signpost, a local charity which provides counselling, coaching and support to young people living in South and West Hertfordshire. Signpost offers young people aged 11-25 a safe and supportive listening environment as well as the chance to join social groups and activities and does valuable work running educational workshops in schools and with parents.
