Hello and welcome,

I’m Lauren, the maker and designer behind Elizabeth Designs, Elizabeth being my middle name.

A little about me....

After many years in the photographic industry, it’s given me a great appreciation for how precious family photographs are. That love for preserving memories naturally inspired my jewellery making, leading me to create pieces with the same sentiment. I began with lockets, a keepsake that carries personal meaning for the wearer. From there, I introduced my birthday necklaces, timeless designs that celebrate life’s milestones and connections.

But my love for creating began when I realised the digital shift in photography took me away from hands on creativity, I felt something was missing. A chance conversation with my college technician, a silversmith, led me to join her six week beginners’ jewellery making course. From the very first class, I was hooked!

There’s something about working with hand tools, shaping, forming, and creating something lasting from scratch. I knew this was what I was meant to do.

Fast forward years of learning and making, Elizabeth Designs was created.

I design and make each piece of jewellery using 100% recycled precious metals. I believe that with any handmade made craft, pieces take time, patience and great attention to detail. My jewellery is slow made in small batches, making sure I provide you with a piece of jewellery that will stand the test of time.
