A personalised family print: a bespoke crossword design created from your family names (or other words). A special personalised family gift.
A bespoke personalised family names crossword is a very personal family gift; great for mum or dad, and a particularly appropriate family gift.
This family print is very versatile. You can include any words you like on your personalised crossword. Most people choose to show family names but crosswords work well for other things too, like special places or locations.
We design and print this crossword in a vertical (portrait) format and with traditional black and white crossword grid.

Variations
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
You send us 10 to 16 items for your crossword. An item is one word or a short combination of words (up to 12 characters).
We print each item in capital letters and without spaces (so Grandpa Joe is printed as GRANDPAJOE). We also remove punctuation like commas and apostrophes.
Please double-check name spellings!
If you send the same word twice (e.g. your words are names and you want to include two people called JOHN) we'll include both of them - please take care not to send us duplicates by mistake!
- add an optional title, printed underneath the crossword
- colours - black, blue or red.
- text styles - classic, contemporary and script.
It's the nature of crosswords that the words only fit together in a limited number of ways so unfortunately we can't put words in any particular order - we'll position them where they look best in the design.

UNFRAMED PRINTS
- printed with high quality inks for excellent fade resistance and color reproduction
- available on matte paper or a preimum heavyweight fine art paper
- available in standard sizes so they will fit into standard size picture frames that are widely available, both online and in the shops
CANVAS PRINTS
- ready to hang, canvas prints are wrapped and stretched on an 18mm pine box frame (frame not visible from the front of the print). There's a close-up picture of the rearside of the canvas prints in the image gallery.
FRAMED PRINTS
- 25mm smooth matte black frames. A4 and A3 frames have 2mm glass with an MDF backing board, A2 frames have 2mm styrene with an MDF backing board. Frames are manufactured in the UK from high-quality solid wood and come complete with hanging fixings.
- frames are great for convenience (they're ready to hang) or if you want to send a gift direct to the recipient, but you'll find more choice (of prices, styles and colours) if you buy your own frame locally
