Dotty About Braille

About

Thoughtful, inclusive, appreciated

Hi, I'm Hayley and I'm the founder of Dotty About Braille, my braille greetings cards are designed with blind and partially sighted people at the forefront of my mind, I want them to be able to celebrate key milestones in their life, with a card specific to that event, just as sighted people can. I offer a wide range of colours, because contrary to what people may think, many blind and partially sighted people do have a favourite colour.

Being visually impaired myself, and growing up surrounded by blind and visually impaired people, I understand the importance of inclusivity and accessibility and I hope that's what I achieve with my cards.

I hand type all the cards myself using a Perkins Brailler and I can offer grade 1 (uncontracted) or grade 2 (contracted) UEB. If you're unsure about which grade to choose, I'd recommending opting for grade 1.

All of my cards can be customised and each includes a personalised braille message inside.
