Decadorn is a British jewellery brand, founded 2010 by Helen Clement that showcases the raw, natural beauty of the world through semi-precious gemstones.
Our semi-precious stones are carved by hand to further appreciate and enhance their organic forms. The methods used to craft the stones have mostly been left behind by modern mass production. We endeavour to minimise waste by using all parts of the minerals, showcasing their unique markings, textures and tones.
Beauty doesn’t mean perfection, it means honesty, workmanship and timeless design. Our collections are created with a seasonless idea in mind, offering simple, beautiful possessions that can be treasured.
Our collections are subtle and timeless, with a focus on craftmanship, using the most natural materials, sourced close to our production in both India and Bath.
Following a creative degree at university, I worked as a fashion and interiors buyer for some of the UK’s biggest retailers.
After a decade of working in the mass market I found herself uninspired and ready for a new adventure. Having travelled all over the world for work, I left my job to head to California. Once there, I rediscovered a love of precious gemstones from my childhood, mesmerised by their colour and raw, unfinished beauty.
Armed with a few thousand pounds and the determination to make it work, I went all in to create a crystal jewellery range using the gemstones that I loved. Showing at Spitalfields market in London, the collections caught the eye of an accessories buyer for Anthropologie.
Although we're now stocked in stores online and all over the UK, we remain a small team and I continue to design and style all of our pieces myself.
My mission remains the same today as it was then - to reveal the raw beauty of the gemstones that I love. Wearing jewellery like memories, whether stacked, layered or alone, each piece represents a moment in life and the love associated with it.
