I'm Elen, the designer and owner behind Keedd — a personalised gifts brand I've been building from my studio in Northampton for nearly ten years.
Keedd started from a straightforward idea: that a gift with a child's own name on it is a different kind of gift entirely. Not just something to unwrap and set aside, but something to keep. Something that ten years from now will still carry that name, still hold that moment.
What makes Keedd different isn't just personalisation — it's the care put into every decision before the order even arrives with you.
How I personalise
I work with three techniques, and I choose the right one for each product:
Embroidery — for soft goods like blankets, comforters and baby clothing. A name stitched into fleece or waffle cotton has a texture you can feel and a permanence that printing simply can't match. It won't fade, crack, or wash out.
Print — for items where colour, detail, or illustration is part of the design. I work with high-quality processes that produce clean, lasting results on the right materials.
Engraving — for keepsakes, wooden items, and gifts that need a more permanent, tactile finish. An engraved name on a keepsake box or wooden toy is something a family genuinely holds onto.
Each technique is chosen deliberately. I don't apply one method to everything — I match the personalisation to the product so the result is right, not just convenient.
All designs are created by me.
I'm not just reseller. I design the products, select the materials, specify the personalisation, oversee production, and pack every order myself. That means when something arrives at your door, every detail — from the font to the fabric to the way it's wrapped — has been a conscious choice.
The gift is ready when it leaves me.
Every Keedd order is packed in a craft gift box with teal tissue paper and a branded sticker. It arrives ready to give. No extra wrapping needed, no last-minute panic. If you'd like to add a card with your message, just let me know at checkout.
A note on getting the name right.
I personalise exactly what you write, so please take a moment to check the spelling before you order. If you're unsure about anything — a nickname, a capitalisation, an unusual name — send me a message. I reply personally and I'm always happy to help you get it exactly right.
Thank you for supporting a small independent brand. It means a great deal.

Keedd, Northampton

I've always been drawn to making things that feel considered — where the material, the technique, and the detail all work together. Running Keedd gives me that every day.
I design the products, choose what personalisation method works best for each one — embroidery, print, or engraving — and oversee everything through to the final wrap. It's a lot to hold, but I prefer it that way. When I know every step, I know the quality is right.
What I find most rewarding is the moment a customer tells me their child still has the blanket, or that the keepsake box is on the shelf years later. That's what this is for.
