I Love You Mum Hand Stamped Bookmark Mothers Day Gift

Some messages don't need improving. “I love you mum” has been doing its job in cards, on notes left on kitchen tables and in the last few seconds of phone calls for as long as anyone can remember. This bookmark just makes it last.

The words are stamped by hand into a slim strip of polished aluminium, about 120mm long and 10mm wide, in our Suffolk studio. We work letter by letter, so no two bookmarks are copies of each other, and you may spot a letter sitting a little high or leaning slightly. We'd call that character. It's the reason the finished piece feels like it came from a person rather than a printer.

Aluminium is a good alternative to sterling silver. It's hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant, so it stays comfortable to handle and keeps its shine inside a well-thumbed book.

It's a gift for Mother's Day, a birthday or no occasion at all, and it suits a mum, a step mum or a grandmother. You can personalise it when you order, gift wrapping is available, and it fits through the letterbox.

Can be personalised.
