Funny Border Collie Dog Bookmark

The text and design is different on both sides of this Border Collie bookmark.

One side of the bookmark has a funny breed description, 'Highly intelligent and bursting with energy, the Border Collie is the professional athlete of the dog world and is born to run. Loves to chase a thrown stick or ball. Endlessly. Until your arms fall off.' The Border Collie illustration is taken directly from an original Coulson Macleod pencil sketch.

The other side of the bookmark has lots of lovely quotes about dogs in general, such as, 'The average dog is a nicer person than the average person.' and 'Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.'

Wondeful little gift for those that simply love or own this highly trainable British herding dog that descended from traditional sheepdogs. Pefect little stocking filler for a farmer, shepherd, or dog sports enthusiast.

Designed in, and dispatched from, the Coulson Macleod studio.

Fun fact:- The breed gets its name from the 'border' of Scotland and England and 'collie' is an old Scottish term used for sheepdogs.
