Paula founded Cocoon&me (C&M) in 2016 to follow her dream to create made to order, handcrafted, stylish gifts, accessories & craft kits. C&M’s aesthetic is creativity, design style, originality, and personalisation made for you.

Paula’s passion is to inspire us to fall in love with contemporary textiles & crafts. Sustainability is at the heart of our approach with all materials carefully sourced, natural, & recycled where possible.

Based in our design studio in the creative hub of Brighton, C&M offers a range of customisable gifts for you, your home, and your beloved pets. Leading designs include our beautiful Chita Bag, which is an exclusive to NOTHS & our original Chunky Macramé Dog Leads.

We also create beautiful, handmade craft kits using artisanal techniques such as macramé, knitting & crochet. As a market leader we offer simple patterns that let you be creative & inspired! Incredibly popular, our followers tell us what a thrill it is to make their own unique items allowing them to leave behind the stresses of the day. Whether for yourself or as a gift for loved ones, our kits are a perfect way to develop skills & lead mindfulness - for all ages!

From the very start, C&M’s aim has been to create original designs for like-minded people, whilst supporting our communities, people & planet we love and respect. Put simply our aim is to make beautiful objects for everyday living.

Cocoon&me Kits and Yarn

HOW IT STARTED

Cocoon&me’s founder Paula, fell in love with all things artistic at a young age when helping her mother, a multi-talented artist in her Covent Garden studio in the 1970’s. Paula was destined to be a creative designer and went on to graduate with both a Fashion Diploma & a Constructed Textile Degree, specialising in Knitwear.

In 2016, following a successful career in fashion as a Knitwear Designer, Paula followed her long held dream to run her own business & Cocoon&me was born. Combining her creative design skills & a passion for textiles, an initial small homeware range of plant hangers, cushions & wall hangings was created. A diverse range of designs followed as C&M established itself as a much-loved brand by its followers.
