Originally minted in 1551, the silver sixpence has been a traditional wedding symbol, thought to have brought luck to brides since the Victorian Era. This beautiful illustrated card comes with a genuine silver sixpence for the bride's special day.
Illustrated by hand and fully created in-house, from our studio in the Essex countryside, we make each card to order, ensuring that you get a completely unique keepsake for your wedding day and beyond.
This wedding sixpence card has been left blank for your own message, however this item is available to be sent directly to your recipient with a handwritten message of your choice.
Variations
You can choose to send this personalised wedding card directly to your recipient by selecting the 'send directly to recipient' option. Let us know your personalised message and we'll write it beautifully by hand inside. We won't send any paperwork to your recipient; we will instead email the delivery note for your records upon request.

This sixpence wedding card is made using high-grade 300gsm card, with a printed hand drawn illustration of a series of sixpences and one real sixpence coin attahced with removable glue, ready to add to your shoe. Provided with a luxury matching 135gsm white envelope and custom engraved birch banner.
