These lovable animal puppets are hand knitted in organic cotton. In size terms, they are half-way between a finger puppet and a hand puppet.
The puppets are all hand made by artisans at ChunkiChilli's own knitting community in a small town in Southwest China, a project we launched more than fifteen years ago with a view to providing work choices that enable families with children to stay together. In these post-Covid days of reduced mobility, the availability of this work is now more important than ever.
Variations
The puppets are available here in four different styles: Reindeer, Lamb, Rabbit and Wolf.
Made from
The puppets are hand knitted in organic cotton yarn, with a piece of organic cotton fabric inside. The stuffing is Oeko-Tex certified polyester. The puppets can be machine washed, but hand washing is preferable.
They are CE certified for age zero plus.
Dimensions
The animals are roughly 14cm tall, not including ears or antlers.
