A traditional Mexican scarf, known as rebozo, in soft cotton with a Mexican pattern. Large & super soft, perfect as a wrap or blanket scarf!
Made in old lace white, with a touch of midnight blue, it is a timeless classic, and it doesn't get more Mexican than this.
It looks and feels luxurious and elegant, but it can also be worn to brighten up any outfit.
Luxury rebozos are the perfect gift - you can't go wrong in size and the uniqueness and ethical standards are a big plus.
Rebozos are super versatile: team up with a mac or summer jacket, wear it as an elegant pashmina with a dress, wrap it around a cardigan, or accessorise your wedding day!
Rebozos have a thread count of 5,000 threads. A single rebozo can take 10 artisans up to 30 days to make.
As always, 100% cotton and 100% handmade.
- Hand wash recommended.
- If you must, machine wash in gentle cycle. No tumble-drier, lay flat to dry, away from sunlight. Do not wring.
- Because rebozos are entirely hand made, very small imperfections may occur from time to time, however this is part of the charm!
Rebozos are made in the town of Tenancingo, 90km from Mexico City. Each thread is placed individuall on the loom before weaving. The whole process is time consuming, yet very eco-friendly and of low environmental impact.
Rebozos are not just scarves, they are unique, non-mass produced works of art. Non-disposable fashion, for those who care how their clothes are made.
Our mission is to play a small role in preserving these traditions for future generations by trading directly with the artisans, paying a fair price and donating 50% of all our profits back to the community.
Gift wrap: lovingly wrapped in a gift box with tissue paper, jute ribbon and Chilpa sticker.
