Carolina Wong designs sculptural upcycled jewellery with natural elegance. Meticulously handcrafted in London.
Hong Kong-born, London based world citizen. Carolina Wong graduated in 2011 at the Chelsea College of Art and Design specialising in Woven Textile Design. Experimentation with materials has always been part of Wong’s world: enriched by a wealth of cultural heritage absorbed during her creative education and experiences in four continents, Wong values the art of uniting traditional crafts and creativity.
Wong’s unconventional interpretation of jewellery strongly reflects her textile roots, from the granny craft crochet Buoyant20 to the mechanical construction of the Motion Series. Through her design, Wong creates wearable art.
The Brand Value
Up-cycled
All metal parts of the jewellery collections are made from up-cycled materials such as regenerated brass and gold.
Low carbon footprint
We source materials in the countries where we produce them, or we produce in our London studio to limit to a maximum of two countries our products travel through.
Handcraft
Majority of the production process is handmade due to the complexity and sophistication of the crafts. This ensures environmental sustainability whilst empowering artisans and ensuring fair wages to sustain their skills.
Diversity
Our team is constituted of men and women of different ages, tribes, religions and sexual orientations. We strive to create a working environment free of discrimination and judgement.
