Light your tea light on a safe, heat resistant surface and don’t leave it unattended

Always keep candles out of the reach of children and pets

Avoid placing lit tea lights in a draught, or near curtains

Ensure the area above and around your tea light is clear, with nothing flammable nearby - even wallpaper

Never pick up or move a lit tea light

Always check your tea light is completely out before walking away or going to bed
