Established in 2014, Bymarie is an independent lampshade design business located in South West London. With a focus on unique quality products as well as a service that is personalised, reliable and affordable. Bymarie has continued to evolve and develop whilst retaining at heart, its core principle: each and every single lampshade is custom made to order and professionally handmade, regardless of their size, shape or cost.
Marie, who is the founder of ‘Bymarie’, studied ‘Surface Pattern Design for Fashion & Interiors’ and graduated in 2008. From a young age Marie has always loved drawing, painting and creating; founding Bymarie has allowed her to express her love for pattern through her expanding collection of lampshades and her love for her art continues to grow daily. All of the designs you see at Bymarie are lovingly hand-drawn, hand-painted by Marie, before being proudly printed onto quality fabric.
