Brilliant Neon Ltd are a London startup, was founded in 2015 by Neil Ellis who had previously worked in the experiential design sector for 20 years. Based in vibrant Peckham, designing and retailing bespoke neon at affordable prices. Our ethos is that we want everyone to be able to enjoy the beauty, craftsmanship and fun that traditional glass neon lighting can offer.

Our collection has been creatively constructed with a desire to spread happiness through artworks that bring a smile and embrace a sense of fun. The retro feel of neon in a modernist setting offers the fusion of vintage with cutting edge designs.

The signs are designed in London and inspired by vintage signs of Soho and Las Vegas, our talented craftsmen are able to skilfully mould glass neon into our original contemporary designs producing a beautiful level of lighting through illuminated colours that would enhance any interior.

Affordable real neon

All neons are mounted to lightweight aluminium composite panels (either black or white.) This allows us to neatly hide the transformers and wiring behind. They also create a background for the neon. The mounting panels are electrically earthed to provide a high level of safety. Our neon is made from glass tube which can break so to protect this, each of our signs come with a clear acrylic cover allowing a clear view of the neon. Each neon comes with 2.5 meter cable fitted with a UK plug and an in line switch allowing the neon to be easily switched on and off. Each back panel has 2 eyelet holes in order that the sign can be easily mounted to the wall. Smaller sized neons work well freestanding on a shelf or side table.

We use modern electronic transformers which means our neons only use minimal power to run so you can have them on as much as you like without worrying about your electricity bill.
