Grow fresh food on your window. Bottle Farm was founded in 2019 with the aim to bring people new ways of growing at home sustainably.
Bottle Farm provides everything you’ll need to sow, grow and harvest your own fresh herbs, salads and vegetables. All you need is an old plastic bottle, tap water and a window.
Set up in a garden shed in south London by three school friends who wanted to inspire more people to start growing.
Our mission is simple: get more people growing and have a positive environmental impact.
The more people grow at home, the less they buy plastic-wrapped vegetables that have been transported thousands of miles, often by plane.
“Growing your own fresh food is such a rewarding experience, from planting the seeds to harvesting the produce. The problem is that most people don’t have the time, space or knowledge to do it.” Says co-founder Charlie Francis.
We launched our idea on Kickstarter in 2020, and our campaign was 100% funded in under 24 hours.
The kit is designed and made in the UK from over 95% recycled materials. We offset more than 100% of our carbon footprint via our work with Carbonfund
