SEED INFORMATION:

Calendula - commonly known as pot marigolds and are loved by bees. Sow indoors February-April. Sow outdoors March to June or August to October (later sowings mean the flowers will bloom the following year). They grow to around 60cm tall and will flower from May to October if you dead-head them regularly. Need to be sown each year for new flowers.

Lavender - Hidcote variety and are loved by bees, butterflies and birds. They grow to around 60cm tall and can make a stunning edge to a path. Sow indoors February-June. Flowers from July to September the following year. Evergreen so will remain in leaf all year round.

Mint - The smell of fresh mint is very uplifting. This variety can grow quite large, so it’s best to grow it in a pot on your patio. It will die down over winter and emerge again in the spring. Keep watered and dead headed for longer harvesting period. Sow indoors March-June. Seedlings usually appear 14-28 days after sowing. They prefer a sheltered sunny spot.

All seeds are supplied by Mr Fothergills in foil sachets to ensure freshness, however we recommend all seeds are sown within the first year of purchase.

The seeds can be simply scattered directly into the soil to make the growing process very simple – each pack includes specific and easy to follow instructions.

The box and seed envelopes are made from recycled paper and card.
