As founders of Blue Goose coffee, we set out to create the ultimate Nespresso compostable coffee pods. From the premium we pay our growers to the way our coffees are grown and the charities we support, we are putting purpose not profits at the centre of our coffee business.
We pay our smallholder farming cooperatives and growers a premium for our speciality coffee, helping them both earn a living income and build sustainable livelihoods so their families and local communities can thrive into the future.
Sip by sip, you're also helping us support water and wildlife projects in our origins. We’re not naïve enough to think coffee farming has no impact on the environment though so, beyond sourcing Organic-grown coffees, we’re also working with WellWishers Ethiopia & Bale Mountain Conservation Project to support and protect local ecosystems, wildlife habitats and the prosperity of those living in our coffee origins.

This coffee pod Advent Calendar has some great eco-credentials. Firstly, it's plastic-free and the pods are fully compostable. Inside there are 24 pods with eight different organic coffees from seven countries, with information on how they've been grown with the aim of maximising biodiversity and minimising fertiliser emissions.
This eco-friendly calendar prides itself on its sustainable qualities. The Nespresso-compatible pods are home-compostable, the calendar is plastic-free and recyclable, and the coffee itself is organic and ethically sourced. There is good variety, with eight different pods to open, showcasing coffees from seven different countries – there are tasting notes on the back of the calendar to guide you as you drink. Prizes have also been hidden in some lucky calendars !
I love that it’s eco friendly and plastic free. Great sustainable credentials and a rather elegant alternative to chocolate!
