Having been self-employed for her entire life, Kate Powell understands the hard work that goes into owning your own business. When she opened Bluebelle & Co., her Brighton-based boutique, she envisaged a space where she could put this work ethic towards something creative. Kate's goal has always been to create a shopping experience that's a little different from your average high-street chain, where customers can find unusual, handpicked products in a relaxing boutique environment.

Home to the family run 'Powell Craft' brand, the beauty of design and quality of materials is of the upmost importance to Bluebelle & Co, working with traditional crafters in India for well over 60 years!

You will see the skilled workmanship within the nightwear, quilts, and children's clothing, using hand carved wooden block printing techniques on cotton fabric, making each product that little bit special and unique.
