About
I created Bespoke Binny because I truly believe ‘home is where the heart is’ and having a home that lifts your mood is essential to your well being.
Living and working in London, as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, I recognised the importance of one’s home environment, in coping with issues such as anxiety and low mood.
Being of Ghanaian descent, I grew up being surrounded by vibrant and colourful west African textiles, which I found to be uplifting, as a child.
Motivated by my experiences and love of sewing, and my curiosity to see how African textiles could work outside of their traditional use on on clothing, I went on built Bespoke Binny, an eclectic homeware and lifestyle brand rooted in the beauty African expression. From Africa, for everyone.
