BeGolden - Beautifully Made Bespoke Stationery

BeGolden is a tiny family business. It was founded by Bobby Adams, who has run it for sixteen years alongside her sister Claire. Anna manages the printing team, and Bobby's three grown-up children do everything from running the social media accounts to mending the machines, from modelling the products to collecting books from the bookbindery.

It's an all-hands-on-deck kind of place, and everyone genuinely loves coming to work. The workshop is full of colour, texture, noise, paint, cloth and leather, and the radio is constantly on. It's a really stimulating (hectic) place to be!

Our customers are massively important to us and we pride ourselves on our customer service - we go out of our way to make sure that all enquiries and demands are answered and met as quickly as possible. As a result, we have so many excellent customer reviews and that makes us really proud!

Having spent my early career in New Product Development I decided to use my knowledge bank and create my own products.

I studied languages at University and then went straight into a career in New Product Development. I loved it - learning what products work, the importance of positioning and execution - and so after my break bringing up my children I decided to start my own company. At the beginning BeGolden took on many different guises but in the end we decided on bespoke stationery. We have teamed up with a local bookbindery and every week they make all our books to order and then bring them to the workshop where we hotfoil press them. When they are printed we then really carefully tissue wrap them so they leave us looking beautiful!
