Made entirely in England, the beepalace is a beautiful hand glazed, slip cast ceramic designed to provide 'solitary' bees a nesting place.
The beepalace is made in Stoke on Trent by artisan potters and is a beautifully crafted ceramic designed to look wonderful in a garden or in a patio or on a roof terrace.
The beepalace is an ideal gift for a gardener or a wildlife enthusiast as well as anyone with a garden who is interested in garden design.
As well as looking stunning, the beepalace is an educational tool, allowing young and old to appreciate the work of one of natures greatest pollinators.
The beepalace is currently available in seven colours - ochre, ivy, blue, sage, lime, cream and pink. It looks great on its own or in groups of colours.
Because each beepalace is hand glazed no one beepalace will be identical to another.
The beepalace should be hung about six feet from the ground and face in a southerly direction. The bees it will attract require fruit trees or flowers or herbs or shrubs in the vicinity in order to pollinate.
The ceramic body is made by artisan potters in Stoke on Trent.
The beepalace is frost proof so can be left outside over winter but we do suggest it is placed in a cool dry place like a garage or garden shed to protect any bee larvae and prolong the life of the bee nesting tubes.
The cardboard nesting tubes are made on a Victorian tube making machine in a factory in Yorkshire.
The silicone flange that keeps the tubes in place was specially made for the beepalace in a family run extraction company in West Sussex.
