Bee Happy Seed Balls

Each Bee Happy mini matchbox contains six wildflower seed balls, made using a natural blend of UK wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder.

The clay and chilli powder help protect the seeds from birds and insects, while the peat-free compost provides nutrients to support germination and early growth.

Wildflower seed mix:

• Birdsfoot Trefoil

• Foxglove

• Red Clover

• Viper's Bugloss

• Wild Marjoram

These bee-friendly wildflower varieties have been selected to help provide a valuable source of food for bees and other pollinating insects.

Planting and care instructions:

For best results, scatter the seed balls in spring or autumn, directly onto soil or compost in a garden bed, pot or planter. Leave approximately 10cm between each seed ball to allow space for growth.

There's no need to dig or bury the seed balls. Simply place them on the soil surface, water well and keep the soil moist during germination. With suitable moisture and temperatures, the seeds will begin to grow.

Store unused seed balls in a cool, dry place until you're ready to plant them.

Please note that germination and flowering times will vary depending on the weather, growing conditions and time of planting.
