Batch #001 creates natural and organic skincare to soothe dry, sensitive eczema prone skin, powered by the bees, the land and the seas.

The inspiration behind Batch #001 are my daughters, who both had severe eczema and very dry, sensitive skin from birth.

A crucial part of an eczema skincare regime is moisturising, however, the traditional creams we were using would irritate and sting their delicate skin. They had such long ingredients lists, full of parabens, sulphates and preservatives. Were these the source of the flare ups and irritation?

At the same time, a beekeeper friend told me about the incredible, natural benefits of beeswax, revered by our ancestors for its magical, skin healing properties. It moisturises, conditions soothes and calms the skin and creates a long lasting protective barrier against environmental pollutants. Plus when combined with skin loving plant oils, becomes a beautifully moisturising balm. And as there's no added water, there's no need for preservatives. And so our Organic Beeswax Balms were created, now award-winning and loved by everyone from beauty editors to eczema mums.
