BASS-O-MATIC

Two years ago myself (Rupert Taylor) and Phil Woods decided to create THE Bluetooth speaker which we would buy, were it available.

We wanted exceptionally high audio quality, it had to look great, it had to play continuously for at least two days on one charge, it had to be robust in the extreme, and it had to be rainproof.

Phil, being the electrical and engineering genius that he is, secretly designed and built the prototype and presented it to my wife and I as a wedding present.

This prototype proved such a hit with friends that we started looking at going into production.

Month after month of designing, sourcing, experimenting, and perfecting followed until finally we were ready to start building in earnest.

But before we could release any BASS-O-MATICS, they had to be put through their paces at the "Bass-O-Matic Reverberation Chamber and Extreme Test Facility".

They were run over by a van, dropped 2 metres, and exposed to 100mm of heavy rain, yet they continued playing our music throughout (although we wouldn't recommend this at home!).

Each BASS-O-MATIC is hand-built in our Hampton Court workshop, and comes with a 1 year warranty.
