The Balmy Fox Story

Balmy Fox was grown out of our desire to produce effective, ethical skincare for those involved in sports and outdoor activities.

Suffering from dry skin is irritating enough, but it’s a whole lot worse when you work, live and play outdoors.

Our family live and work on a farm in Mid Wales, caring for and riding horses, running, cycling and kayaking are among the many sports activities we participate in.

We have all from an early age, suffered from dry skin which can become itchy, sore and chapped on the face and body, and worse still, feet and hands, are prone to soreness and cracking, particularly in the winter and when going barefoot in the summer.

Over the years, we have tried many off the shelf high street creams and salves to try to alleviate this but to no great success!

Not happy, with many of the ingredients used in high street skincare products, we decided to undertake some further research into making our own organic and naturally based formulas.

And so the idea for Balmy Fox was born!

How It's Made

Nestled in the Cambrian Mountains in Mid Wales, our home and base for our adventures and Balmy Fox

Experimenting and using a host of natural ingredients, including lanolin, arnica, tea tree and beeswax (from bees we keep on our farm), we have developed ranges for all outdoor and sports activities, whether on the Slope, the Trail or the Water, we have produced a range of formulas for all of your active life!

Delivery

DELIVERY METHODS - UK MAINLAND

In general orders are despatched on the day after they are received, however at busy times this may not be possible. Please therefore allow up to one week for delivery.

Orders sent by Courier need to be signed-for on delivery unless you give us special instructions to leave the goods without them being signed for. Where such a request is made, Balmy Fox cannot accept responsibility for any loss of or damage to the delivery.

Delivery charges to UK mainland addresses will be charged as seen here.

Claims for damage, packing errors or non-delivery of goods must be received by Balmy Fox within 14 days of placing your order.

DELIVERY CHARGES AND METHODS - OVERSEAS

Orders to overseas locations are subject to delivery charges as set out here.

Please note that because of their higher value and an increase in parcels going missing in transit, all overseas orders with a net value of over £40 will now be sent using a tracked delivery system. The delivery charges shown above include the increased costs of using this service.
