Made from hand spun and hand woven Khadi cotton, a fabric well known as it was championed by Mahatma Gandhi. It is a fabric that is more environmentally friendly as it uses less water in the development. The fabric is often spun and woven in the villages by women artisans, and so it gives them their own income and self respect, whilst letting them gain more independence for themselves and their children.
The fabric is hand screen printed, and becomes deliciously soft with wash and wear.

Khadi cotton is a hand spun and hand woven cotton fabric made by thousands of skilled artisans living in rural areas of India. Khadi is cool, comfortable and a truly environmentally friendly fabric, suitable for all seasons. It falls well and becomes becomes buttery soft with wash and wear.
