A contrast selvedge & hand twisted fringe add beautiful detailing. The silk drapes beautifully and is buttery soft. Natural dyes have been used making this a "stand out" accessory.
A perfect gift for a vegan. This silk scarf is made using "Peace Silk" a natural and cruelty free method of obtaining the silk -where no moth is killed in the process.
The silk is handspun then hand woven and finished with hand tied tassels by artisans of an NGO in Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills.
The colurs and weave on these scarves make them multi-tonal and very beautiful.
Variations
Crafted by a not for profit community nestled in Kumaon, in the foothills of the Himalayas, in home spun & hand woven eri peace silk, yarn dyed in exclusively natural colours including indigo, lac, eupatorium and marigold.
We have various colourways for you to choose from. Each is very multitonal.. The selvede edge may vary slightly in colour with each new order we recieve from the weavers.

Made from
100% Eri ( Peace Silk ) known also as Ahimsa silk or "peace silk" or "Vegan Silk" it all the same and is a non violent method of producing silk.
Eri silk has a very different texture from regular silk. It is thicker and has a slubbed apperance. The handfeel is super soft, and the drape beautiful.
Hand wash in cold non biological liquid. Dry in the shade.
Natural dyes will mellow with age, and we believe this just adds to the uniquness of each scarf.
