Headwear Q&A if you are new to this type of product
Q: Why are there no seams or hems? Is it finished?!
A: Mostly when you see tubes of material, they have seams. The seam-free feature is specially designed and made so that there won’t be any rubbing on your skin. The tubes are specially made for this purpose, and we use specialist machinery to print my designs on (it’s very hard to print on a tube!)
Q: Will the ends fray? How long will it last?
A: After washing, the ends of the tube will gently curl in, which will protect them further. I have been using this type of product for around 20 years and they have never frayed and are still going strong, so they really do last a long time.
Q: Is this just a piece of material? What’s special about it?
A: I have hand drawn the design and made it into a repeating pattern. I have specially designed it to look good on this product. It is printed in small quantities in the UK. So this material is not available elsewhere.
