Anastasiou Designs was founded in 2018, in Cardiff, by designer maker Clio Anastasiou. We wanted to promote a different way of seeing, of a material that is otherwise taken for granted. All our products are inspired by the celebration of nature and we pay great respect to the natural form of wood, while focusing on the raw qualities of the grain. Many of our products combine locally sourced wood and resin to create material hybrids and preserve nature in time.

In a world increasingly dominated by mass production, we strongly believe that we need the handcrafted in our lives. We should surround ourselves with products that are filled with stories and character, and that most importantly can last a lifetime.

All materials are locally and sustainably sourced and waste is minimised by creating one off pieces out of the offcuts.
