Learn, cook, eat or stay at a Georgian farmhouse.
We are an independent cookery school with farmhouse rooms located in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of Cranborne Chase. An historic hunting ground that was popular with King John and Henry VIII. The village itself has long been the home of the Earls of Shaftesbury and is surrounded by a rich landscape and farming community.
The house looks over the water meadows of the River Allen where you will find egrets and herons, and is beside a flourishing watercress bed which is fed from the chalk streams. The cookery school is easily reached by car in just under two hours from London and twenty minutes from the main line station in Salisbury. Guests are invited to hone their cookery skills beside the AGA within a small group or bespoke lesson.
Stay awhile, there are comfy rooms and large sofas beside the fireplaces. Or in the warmer months wander through the orchard, feed the hens or sit on the grass beside the Mulberry tree and stare through the moon gate.
We are an award winning independent AGA approved cookery school with rooms.
Following their mystery visit, the judges from Dorset Tourism gave such positive feedback, reporting that everything at 'All Hallows' is bespoke and nothing is too much trouble.
