Founded in 2012, 20th Century Cloth is a London based company that produces its own exclusive range of retro-inspired fabrics, beauty accessories, and homewares

I'm Helen, a textile designer by profession and a vintage clothing collector, enthusiast, and amateur dressmaker. I live in North London with my graphic designer husband and our two daughters.

We have a passion for mid-century style and have both collected vintage clothing, furniture and homewares for many years.

With vintage clothing becoming increasingly scarce I decided to design and print my own range of mid-century inspired fabrics and that is how '20th Century Cloth' came about.

I recently branched out with a range of beauty accessories producing exclusive wash and makeup bags featuring my prints. The most recent addition has seen the beginnings of a homewares range, starting with retro lampshades and now also includes interior fabrics.

I’m equally passionate about British made products as mid-century style and I’ve made the firm decision to support UK manufacturing.

All my fabrics and products are designed in London and printed and made here in the UK.
