This small but mighty beauty can prepare 1 kg of beans in less than 12 minutes. That’s crazy fast, right? But don’t worry; it’s still creating the same awesome, high-quality speciality coffee we love at Two Chimps!
What is this new roaster?
This roaster is called the Aillio Bullet R1, an induction-powered drum coffee roaster designed in Denmark. It’s a whopping 75% more efficient than any other roaster of this size due to its design, which directly heats the drum. Also included is an infrared bean temperature sensor (IBTS), meaning you can effortlessly track the bean’s temperature, keeping on top of the roasting process.
Fancy taking it for a spin?
For £150, this course will consist of introducing coffee, explaining the different types of beans, what speciality coffee is, and the process of preparing and roasting the beans. Plus, of course, you can roast your coffee yourself! These workshops will have a maximum of 2 people, running for 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Once finished, you will take home two 500g bags of speciality coffee, ground to whatever preference, or as whole bean. Not to mention a new breadth of knowledge in coffee.
