Having taught hundreds of kids to embroider in workshops over the years, l feel confident this is a fantastic kit to start your embroidery journey.
The kit starts with some running stitch to get you used to a needle and thread and keeping a good level of tension. Adding felt pieces which build up quickly helps keep youngsters attention as they like to see fast progress. Then we move onto some back stitch and other beginner embroidery stitches.
The fabric is pre printed so once they have cut out the felt pieces they are ready to start stitching and following the guides.
With this kit you'll learn running stitch, back stitch, satin stitch, chain stitch, french knot and lazy daisies. Learning to do embroidery with this kit is really easy with the step by step instructions and You Tube videos created by the Treasure Kave.
As a kid l would spend hours sewing, doing embroidery, some cross stitch and animals were always my topic of choice. Embroidery is very therapeutic and l've had messages from parents telling me how relaxed and happy their child/teen was after doing this kit.
Variations
At check out you will be able to add a mini easel into the cart. These are a lovely way to display embroidery hoops on a shelf or windowsill.

All kits are put together by hand in the UK using recyclable packaging. All gift wrapping is recyclable too.
