A relaxing day of educational fun beside the sea with your bicycle. Find delicious food that grows in and around our beautiful coastline.

The Kent coast is rich with wild foods from varied natural habitats. Iconic world class locations such as The White Cliffs of Dover and Smugglers highways are on the menu.Deal in Kent is 2 hours from London. We meet at local train stations on the main line. The bike foraging adventure appreciates seasonal wild food delicacies harvested from the land and sea. With professional tuition, you will learn how to forage safely, what to look for and how to eat it.

An important part of the day is our gourmet picnic in a special location. The wild food feast will be introduced by foraging tutor and professional chef, Lucia Stuart, who has created unique recipes for her company, The Wild Kitchen. She has been the guest of Paul O'Grady on ITV1 (2020) and foraged with Paul Hollywood for BBC2 television (2014).

CUSTOMER COMMENT : "It was such fun and I learned a lot. The lunch was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to do it again, please do, let me know if you are planning another day. Cycling, sunshine, great food, ideas for the future and lovely warm people. I cooked the foraged potatoes tonight with olive oil and the wild rocket, it was great. Tomorrow I am going to pick some sea buckthorn to make juice. Thanks again and best wishes,Bridget."
