For the person who’s fallen down the sourdough rabbit hole, keeps talking about making their own bread, or simply deserves a genuinely thoughtful gift.
The Ultimate Personalised Sourdough Gift Set brings together everything we love about sourdough in one seriously good-looking box. A collection of beautifully practical tools, individually personalised just for them, all presented together, tied with a bow and ready to gift.
Inside, they’ll find their own personalised glass starter jar, personalised Danish dough whisk, personalised dough scraper and personalised sourdough lame, alongside all the useful bits they’ll need to get baking, including a spatula, digital thermometer, kitchen timer and two feeds of premium bread flour.
We’ll also include a black metal engraved gift card, personalised with your own message for an extra-special finishing touch.
And, of course, there’s the starter.
Our family sourdough starter has been passed down through generations of bakers and is nearly 100 years old. This gift set includes a portion of our dried starter, safely sent to sleep and ready to be brought back to life whenever they’re ready to begin.
Unlike live starter, there’s no need to feed or maintain it straight away, making it perfect for gifting. You can have the box delivered in advance, wrap it, hide it away and give it when the moment is right. Full revival and feeding instructions are included, so even a complete beginner can confidently get their starter bubbling away.
If you’d prefer us to include our live, active starter instead, just let us know. We’d only recommend this option where the starter can be fed and maintained shortly after delivery.
A thoughtful, personal gift for birthdays, Christmas, new homes, keen bakers, aspiring bakers and anyone who has decided that buying bread simply isn’t complicated enough.
When they’re ready, they’ll simply add the starter to their new personalised jar, follow our feeding guide and watch it come back to life.
Prefer something already bubbling? You can also choose our fresh live starter. Please note that live starter will need feeding or refrigerating shortly after delivery, so it isn’t suitable for leaving wrapped for an extended period.
Everything arrives carefully packed inside our signature gift box, with premium presentation and the option to add a personal gift message, so there’s nothing left for you to do except hand it over.
