An educational and tactile shape tracing board made from FSC solid beech wood.
Our wooden shape boards are the perfect hands-on, tactile resource for your little ones. Your child can begin to recognize some basic 2D shapes by carefully tracing them with their finger or using the tracing stick. We have designed our boards to be reversible so you have the most recognizable 2D shapes children in the early years should know and then on the reverse are other 2D shapes.
The shapes on the front are a circle, triangle, square and a rectangle. On the reverse is an oval, pentagon, hexagon and a heptagon.

Our wooden shape boards are 50cm long and 11.5cm wide.
The beech wood tracing stick is always 10cm long.
Made from
Our shape boards are made from FSC certified solid beech wood. It has been sanded smooth to touch and finished with natural raw oil.
Please be careful when using our tracing boards that no pens or pencils are used to trace over the shapes/lines. Although there is a protective oil on it, it can leave a mark or stain. If you are using resources which have been dyed please make sure they are completely dry before putting them on your board. Do not use water directly on our wooden learning resources. As with all wooden objects if immersed or soaked in water over time it will damage the wood.
Our wooden learning resources are finished with a natural raw oil which is a pure natural non-toxic oil. This makes it highly resistant to water and food stuffs. We do recommend that if you are using your board regularly you may want to oil the surface again after 6 months or so.
All our products are CE and UKCA tested and appropiate from age 2+
