Immortalise a special date of your choice with this unique print, inspired by the old theatre or cinema signage, called 'marquee signs'.
This bold statement piece is a great way to commemorate any special date such as the day you met, a wedding date, engagement, birthday, or you can even immortalise your favourite film, gig or concert.
Typically a theatre usher would apply each letter individually to a back lit light box. It was common to see letters missing, misaligned or the odd letter in a different colour - adding to the unique charm of these old signs.
A perfect Father's day gift for dad, showing the date he became a Daddy along with the words "The day you became my hero".
Variations
This print realistically depicts the back-lit, tiled effect of the iconic cinema signage. These truly would be perfect gifts for film lovers!
The background consists of shades of soft yellow to encapsulate the effect of the light box. Letters used will include a mix of black and deep red to keep the prints authenticity. We will select which letters appear in red - or if you do have any preference, please let us know.

All framed prints are made to order, and are supplied glazed with glass, with all the fixings attached so they are ready to hang. Prints are ‘giclee’ printed onto archival 192gsm matte paper, using the finest pigment inks, meaning your print will not fade over time.
