Swanky Portraits was founded by Taaya through her love for illustrating people. It was rebranded to Swanky Giftbook in 2021.

She came up with the idea to illustrate children and adults into their own books whilst reading a story to her daughter.

“The artwork is original and offers the most accurate resemblance available. It is as close to hiring your own, personal, illustrator as a customer can get; without paying hundreds of pounds for the time it would otherwise take to create a bespoke book.”

Taaya at Swanky Portraits have done an excellent job in the drawings which are well drawn and the likeness is perfect!     "This is just a brilliant product. Its so unusual & was a wow with the wedding couple & everyone else that saw it. The quality is great. The detail on the printing was super. Taaya was a joy to work with. She personalised lots of details for me & sent a proof prior to printing. I would most definitely order again, and in fact plan to do so very soon! Do yourself a favour & order this - the wedding couple will LOVE it!"

    "The author was incredibly quick to respond and provide samples- the first book was so amazing and showed such a likeness that I ordered a second. The first book has been given to the parents and they are thrilled and also could not believe the likeness to their twins. I can’t wait to give the second present. Could not recommend enough- it’s a great idea for a memorable keepsake but the service and talent of Taaya was excellent!! Huge thumbs up!"
