Each personalised decal is precision-cut from premium ORACAL® self-adhesive film, selected according to the chosen colour and finish. The lettering is individually cut, so once applied there is no printed rectangular background surrounding the design.
Depending on the chosen finish, decals are produced using ORACAL® 351 premium metallised polyester film or ORACAL® 651 blended polymer PVC film.
ORACAL® 351 is a metallised polyester (PET) film with excellent dimensional stability and permanent adhesive. It has been developed specifically for computer-controlled cutting systems, making it particularly suitable for detailed decorative lettering.
ORACAL® 651 is a durable 0.07mm blended polymer PVC film with permanent adhesive and a smooth matt or gloss finish. It is designed for cut lettering, markings and decorative applications and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Each decal is supplied with transfer tape to help position and apply the lettering accurately.
Application and care: For best results, apply at temperatures of at least 10°C to a clean, completely dry, smooth and non-porous surface. Position the decal, press the lettering firmly into place, smooth over the entire design and slowly peel away the transfer tape.
When applying to curved surfaces such as baubles or glasses, work gradually from the centre outwards.
The adhesive is permanent, so although decals may be removable from some smooth surfaces, residue-free removal cannot be guaranteed. Always test delicate, painted or unfamiliar surfaces before application.
For drinkware, apply to the exterior only and keep away from the drinking rim and food-contact areas. Hand wash carefully and avoid soaking or scrubbing directly over the decal.
Do not apply to skin. Keep away from open flames and high heat. This is a decorative item and not a toy; keep small pieces away from young children.
Stickers are sold by approximate overall length and are available from 5cm to 30cm.
The selected measurement refers to the approximate width of the completed lettering. The finished height varies according to the name, number of characters and proportions of the font.
As a guide:
• 5–8cm diameter bauble – choose approximately 5cm• 10–13cm diameter bauble – choose approximately 8cm• 15–20cm diameter bauble – choose approximately 10cm• Champagne flutes and wine glasses – approximately 5–8cm• Christmas crackers – approximately 8–10cm• Envelopes – approximately 8–13cm
