THE STORY BEHIND OUR LUNCHBOXES
When my eldest started primary school, we'd already been through several fabric lunch bags that quickly became stained, grubby and eventually mouldy.
I remembered the hard plastic My Little Pony lunchbox I'd loved as a child and went looking for something similar for him. I couldn't find one.
Eventually I tracked down a UK manufacturer making the traditional hard plastic boxes I remembered. After months of experimenting with different materials, inks and application methods, I found a combination that was durable, practical and could be personalised with the colourful designs I wanted.
The Spotty N Stripy personalised lunchbox was born.
More than a decade later, they're still one of our back-to-school favourites.
