Hello! I'm Gillian, also known as Sootie Limetree. Here's a picture of me knitting, which is how I spend most of my time.
I moved from Scotland to England when I was seven, which meant LOTS of long car journeys. My Granny taught me to knit to keep me quiet - and I haven’t stopped since.
Every piece is sewn by hand, this makes each toy truly unique. They're then filled using stuffing made from recycled plastic bottles. We’re committed to making heirloom products that are not only built to last, but are good to the planet. Using biodegradable yarns - renewable resources that have been farmed in low pesticide environments - and plant based fibres like bamboo.
