Our Sleepy Nico baby and toddler carriers are handmade and all individually checked, this ensures each one is to the high quality we expect. Our excellent design of simple to use yet achieving such comfort for the wearer and the child, along with our beautiful patterns I believe is the main reason we have won many awards and remain a firm favourite with so many Sling Libraries across the country.
We believe this is all you will need, once baby is too big for your front you can carry them on your back, allowing such versatility. Also how the straps can cross or remain in a rucksack style allow this to be worn by many different people with varying preferences and body shapes.
Once you have outgrown the baby size carrier the toddler carrier should see you through until around 3/4 years of age. Our products have been safety tested to ensure they can withhold weights to 15kg for baby carrier and 20kg for toddler carrier and the fabrics are all baby safe too.

I am Lynsey, mother to Lucy 8, Evan 5 and a Fur baby called Patch. My husband Chris is my biggest supporter and friend. I found slings when my eldest was small, I find it hard to put into words how much they helped me be the Mum I wanted to be. I was able to do simple things without the stress of hearing my baby cry. I could keep her close, calm and connected whilst doing more and more fun things without the restrictions often felt when having a small baby.
I wanted to spread the love of carrying so I trained with Slingababy and started a Sling Library in and around my local area, helping so many families carry babies and toddlers. Often hiring out and selling Sleepy Nico's as they are always a firm favourite with customers. I always wanted to make my own slings but with amazing options already out there I didn't see a gap I could fill.
Then in 2020 when the opportunity came about to take on Sleepy Nico I just knew this was the right move for me to take this brand to the next level.
