The Silverstick wool hiking sock is made in the UK by a family run business that has been producing premium socks for over five generations. The sock is constructed on old fashioned knitting machines that create a ‘true rib.’ The rib can be knitted as slack or as tight as required to give the ultimate in comfort. Modern machines knit an imitation rib using unnecessary quantities of elastic. This leaves marks on the leg due to too much grip caused by the elastic.

ETHICAL SOCK
Azo and chlorine free clothing dye, in accordance with Õko-Tex Standard 100 and ISO 17050-1. This product was made in an accredited UK factory by craftsmen using traditional methods and woollen yarns of the highest standard.
