It is time to get out of the supermarket and start supporting small, family run organic vineyards.
My fascination with wine started 18 years ago whilst studying at University, working in a wine shop in the evenings and on weekends. From the different regions, grape varieties and winemaking methods, no two wines are the same.
I started Savage Vines in 2017 after becoming increasingly frustrated with the mass produced wines being sold in supermarkets and their lack of concern for quality, health of consumers and the environment. I work directly with small, independent, family run vineyards who produce certified organic wine where they don't use artificial herbicides, pesticides or chemicals in the vineyard. From the vineyard to your door, all elements contribute towards building an environmentally sustainable future. Most recently Decanter awarded us runner up as the Best Newcomer to the retail wine market in the UK.

It's Not Just About Good Wine
We firmly believe in sustainability and want to ensure our environmental footprint is one that shows we give more than we take. Savage Vines works with environmentally focused businesses across the entire supply chain. From our certified organic warehouse, to our packaging which is made from recycled cardboard and our electric delivery vans. Everything we do to get the wine from the vineyard to your door is focused around environmental sustainability.
All the wines we import directly from the winemaker into the UK are made in small quantities, unique and direct reflection of the regions where they are from. By purchasing direct from the vineyard we can ensure the wines are made with limited environmental impact and represent great value for money for the consumer.
